In 2005 what was then known as Rescue 858 was donated to the squad which allowed us to be able to transport patients ourselves rather than wait for neighboring squads to respond with their ambulances.  This was a huge step for Lafayette EMS and it's members and helped us to better serve the people of Lafayette.
