Fire and Accident Scenes

These are pictures of some of the fire and accident scenes to which our squad has responded.  In some cases we treated patients, in others we provided support to the Fire Department(s) on scene.  In addition to treating any injuries a firefighter might sustain we also monitor their blood pressure, pulse rates and other vital signs.  During warm/hot weather we pay special attention to possible signs of over heating.  Some of the pictures may not have been taken in Lafayette as we are sometimes asked to provide mutual aide to surrounding communities.   Whether providing direct patient care or support these are all vital services that we provide to the community, and to fellow emergency service providers.
